Josh Homme has remixed the track 'Sad Lover' from Mark Lanegan's new EP No Bells On Sunday.

Regarding the remix, Lanegan told Rolling Stone: "Josh Homme channelled the ghost of ’80s new wave for this mix." The track is a more distorted and experimental twist on the original, in perfect Homme fashion.

Mark Lanegan Band's new EP, titled  No Bells on Sunday, was released on Tuesday 29 July through Flooded Soil/Vagrant Records, with 1,500 copies pressed on vinyl.

In a recent interview with Radio 6, Homme disputed that he helped change Arctic Monkeys' sound. Homme said: "I think there's a misconception that I slowed them down or weirded them out when we worked together."

Josh Homme and his band Queens of the Stone Age will be co-headlining Reading and Leeds Festival this weekend with Paramore. For more information visit here
