PJ Harvey has contributed to the soundtrack of BBC drama series Peaky Blinders, with a cover of Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds' 'Red Right Hand'.
The cover will appear in episode three of the second series of the show, which centres around a gangster family in post-WW1 Birmingham. Songs from Arctic Monkeys and Johnny Cash will also feature, but details of their contributions haven't been revealed yet.
Cillian Murphy appeared on Lauren Laverne's BBC 6 Music yesterday, and he brought with him the first play of Harvey's cover.

Flood, the producer of both the show and PJ Harvey, also appeared on the show, revealing that he sought her help after the show was accused of being too American.
"We're trying to make it feel much more European and British" he said, as NME reports. "And PJ fits that perfectly. I phoned Polly up and she was very interested. We're trying to deconstruct all of Polly's material and then weave it through, it's very cutting-edge and modern."
Songs by Arctic Monkeys and Johnny Cash will also feature.
The cover is Harvey's first music in over a year - following her August 2013 single 'Shaker Aamer' which raised attention for the British national who has been imprisoned in Guantanamo Bay since 2002.
