Rock royal Lemmy from Motorhead has admitted he is a big fan of Swedish pop legends, Abba.
Speaking to The Huffington Post, the metal frontman was asked to reveal something that his fans might not know about him and suprised us all by confiding: "One of my favourite band's is ABBA".
Who knew the heavy rocker, famed for his past-diet of Jack Daniels and cigarettes, would be into their glitzy, dancefloor vibes?
He also goes on to mention the origins of his love for rock and roll: "I heard Little Richard and Elvis and that was it, you know? Then I went to London because that's where you had to be in Britain. You can’t do it from anywhere else really. Even the Beatles had to go to London."
Motorhead were last in the news back in July when an unnamed fan of the band was treated for a blood clot on the brain after headbanging at one of their gigs. Doctors were keen to stress that headbanging in itself is not a dangerous activity.
