Colour are an ambitious, exciting, addition to British indie, and have honed their epic sound by spending a year in a studio. They've waited until they had all the essential ingredients to make a gushing impact, and with 'Nowhere' it shows they're ready for the big time. Major labels are knocking at their door.
Their carefully-crafted reverb drenched guitar sound and soaring vocals are suggestive of a band suited to stadiums. They've already played two pre-match show the City of Manchester Stadium (Etihad), and played a black tie event at Liverpool FC - remarkable achievements for a band who are only on their second single.
'Nowhere' shows the potential they have to make an even bigger impact across the country. Their intricate rhythmic guitar picking taking influence from the likes of Foals and Everything Everything. Whilst vocally they have a commanding classic British indie sound that recalls the likes of U2 and Echo and The Bunnymen.
