The Killers have stuck to tradition and released yet another Christmas single. Watch the video for 'Joel, The Lump Of Coal' below.
Recorded with US chat show host Jimmy Kimmel, the band have revealed their ninth annual Christmas single in support of AIDS charity (RED).
It tells the story of a living piece of coal, dedicated to keeping Santa warm. We don't know about you, but we hope that the chorus goes up there with work by John Lennon, Slade and more in becoming a Yuletide song for the ages: "Joel, Joel, the lump of coal - happy as a lump can be"

Speaking to NME about the track, frontman Brandon Flowers said: "We watched Back To The Future in Soho in London one night. And of course [the soundtrack is] doused in Huey Lewis. It made me think how much we loved his voice growing up.
"Somehow, along the way, Huey lost his involvement. Jimmy had this idea of a lump of coal who goes to a bad kid and gives up his life and becomes a diamond. It’s kind of genius that it hasn’t been used."
