After taking part in a drum battle on Jimmy Fallon, doppelgangers Chad Smith and Will Ferrell and planning a musical comedy tour next year.
The resemblance between the Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer and the comedy actor has long been noted online, and the pair finally embraced their similarities when they competed against each other on US talk show Jimmy Fallon earlier in the year. It's now been viewed by 25 million people on YouTube.

Now it looks like they're taking their newfound friendship/rivalty to the next level. Speaking to Rolling Stone, Smith said: "I can't really expound upon details, but we have been talking about doing something next year that will combine music and comedy – a show. It will benefit the charities that we're into."
He added, "Plus, I think I need to redeem myself from how I was robbed of the Golden Cowbell. I don't want to burst any bubbles, but he wasn't even playing the drums, people! Shenanigans! Call the cops, I've been robbed! Yeah, so, it's not over."
