Suge Knight has been formally charged with murder, attempted murder, and two counts of hit-and-run after he ran over two men, killing one.

TMZ reports that witnesses claim that the fromer Death Row Records CEO drove up to a video shoot involving The Game, Ice Cube, and Dr. Dre - the filming of upcoming NWA biopic, Straight Outta Compton.

Knight allegedly followed a group of people to a nearby burger restaurant, where he reversed into and ran over two men, one of whom later died of his injuries. It is reported that the deceased has been identified as his friend Terry Carter.

Knight's attorney, James Blatt, told the LA Times that while his client did run over the two men, he was being attacked through the window of his track by a group of people "attempting to drag him outside of the vehicle when he made an effort to escape... in fear for his life." Blatt says that Knight unintentionally struck the two victms.

Witnesses disagree with this account however, insisting that Knight backed up over the victims after he had initially struck them.

Knight was initially granted $2 million bail, but it has since been revoked after he was was cited as a possible flight risk. His criminal record and possible witness intimidation issues were also cited.
