The first acts for this year's Green Man Festival have been announced - with St Vincent and Hot Chip headlining two of the three nights.
One of the UK's most carefully curated festivals, Green Man have announced the first of their 400-odd acts for the festival that takes place 20-23 August.
Notable acts who will be venturing to Glanusk Park in Wales include a UK festival exclusive for the brilliant Courtney Barnett, psych DJs par excellence Beyond The Wizard's Sleeve, louche folk wit Father John Misty, masked Swedish experimentalists Goat, funk survivor Charles Bradley, country soul specialist Matthew E White, critical darlings Viet Cong and the hugely hyped Songhoy Blues from Mali.
The rest of the lineup includes Calexico, Mew, The Staves, Sun Ra Arkestra, The Fall, Shovels & Rope, The Wave Pictures, Hookworms, Sylvan Esso, Waxahatchee, Son Lux, Owen Pallett, Steve Gunn, Richard Dawson, Alisdair Roberts, Zun Zun Egui, Slug, BC Camplight, Ryley Walker, Trust Fund, Corey Bowen, Huw Stephens, Tom Ravenscroft, and Nothing Is.
