For the second time this week, Prince and 3RDEYEGIRL stunned fans with a second intimate show - this time in Dubai last night (Wednesday 4 February, 2015).
The show was his second for charity Autism Rocks, after performing an epic hit-packed set at Koko in London earlier this week. See our report from the Koko show here and full review here.
Taking to the stage in Pacha, His Royal Badness played another set of classics and greatest hits at the organiser's request - opening with a funk-rock version of 'Let's Go Crazy' and tearing through the likes of 'Controversy', 'Lets Go Crazy', 'U Got The Look', '1999', 'Nothing Compares 2 U' and 'Kiss'.
An eyewitness said: "Prince then moved on to piano for a solo set including 'How Come U Don't Call Me Anymore', 'Diamonds and Pearls' and a stellar 'The Beautiful Ones'. Rejoined by the band for a final encore the triumphant night closed with many brought to tears as the entire venue sang along to 'Purple Rain'.
Trust us when we say that Prince is on the finest form of his career at the moment, and we'd gladly follow his whim to a surprise show anywhere. He's rumoured to be playing the Grammy Awards this weekend, and as always, is tipped to play at Glastonbury (but never hold your breath).
