TV On The Radio cancel tour due to 'health emergency'

TV On The Radio have had to cancel their upcoming UK tour, due to the illness of drummer Jahphet Landis. Full details are below.

The band posted on Facebook: "It is with much regret that due to a health emergency, we are forced to cancel our upcoming Europe/UK tour which is due to start this Friday. Our drummer, Jahphet is in the hospital; he will be ok but is not able to travel at this time.

"We apologize to all our European & UK fans and appreciate everyone’s understanding and well wishes for Jahphet at this time." 

The band, who released their fifth album Seeds in November were due to kick off their run of UK dates in Edinburgh on 16 February, before heading to Manchester, Leeds and Birmingham, capping off the tour in London's Roundhouse.

The band recently appeared US talk show The Late Show With David Letterman and their cover of David Bowie's 'Heroes' soundtracked the new season trailer for Game Of Thrones.
