Angel Haze has unveiled her first new music since her album Dirty Gold in 2013 - and is promising 'one of the best rap verses of 2015' in her new material.
Uploaded to Soundcloud early this week, 'Canlxs' features production from Troy Noka, and rather than being one of the political diatribes Haze is known for, it's actually kind of sweet.
Not only does the song feature touching lyrics about their relationship, but Haze also painted the cover art - a portrait of herself and girlfriend Ireland Baldwin.

The track begins with Haze rapping over pulsating percussion but progresses to a softer sound as she spends much of the track singing, accompanied by soft flute which flutters delicately over the heavy bass.
This is the first track from her upcoming EP In The Winter of Wet Years, which will be released later this month. Although it hasn't yet been officially confirmed, it looks like this isn't the only new song we'll be treated to this week. Haze tweeted today that she'll be putting out a new record on Sunday, to the delight of surprised fans.
I personally think this new record im puttin out sunday has one of the best rap verses of 2015.

Her second album, The Flowers Are Blooming Now, is due out later this year, and marks her departure from Universal Records following a falling-out over the artist leaking her debut album (Dirty Gold) ahead of schedule.
