Bombay Bicycle Club and Ben Howard have been announced as headliners of a brand new London festival.
The Citadel Festival will take place at London's Victoria Park this July, the event with the theme 'A Mirror To The City' has been put together by Wilderness, Communion, Superfly, Soundcrash & Time Out.
As well as the London exclusive festival appearance of Bombay Bicycle Club, a huge slot from Ben Howard and with many more acts to be announced, Citadel promise a wide range of eclectic goings on.
"We're so excited about this one - great to have Bombay Bicycle Club along-side us and we're booking some of our personal favourites to join us on the bill," said Ben Howard. "Going to be a special day.
Jamie MacColl of Bombay Bicycle Club added: “We’re really looking forward to hosting a day of brilliant music (and hopefully sunshine!) with our friend Ben Howard.”
A Citadel spokesman said: "Away from the live music programme, the festival will host some of the city's gastronomic leaders crafting a series of long table Sunday dining experiences whilst Secret Productions' Sunday Papers Live team will host a tent of captivating literary talks, spoken word and debates.
"From markets and expos showcasing East London’s cutting-edge designers and craftsmanship to stages and spaces offering a unique mix of live musicianship and theatre, Citadel will be Victoria Park’s 2015 summer crescendo which celebrates the Sunday pleasures of music, performance, ideas and dining."
Citadel Festival takes place on Sunday 19 July at London's Victoria Park. Tickets go on general sale on Friday 13 February. For tickets and more information, visit here.
