'DON'T GIVE HER BACK THE CAPE'

Madonna BRIT Awards performance sees her trip over cape - watch Photo: WENN

The finale of tonight's BRIT Awards saw a hotly-anticipated performance from Madonna with 'Living For Love'. However, a couple of mishaps sparked quite the reaction online.

As in The Incredibles, everyone's advice appears to be 'no capes'. Being introduced by Ant & Dec (glamorous, flouncy flouncy) as the "best-selling female solo artist of all time", our Madge soon made her way to the stage for 'Living For Love'.

Decked in a cape and flanked by lads dressed as bulls and such, she soon unveiled herself in a matador before she began awkwardly walking around her bovine friends. Alas, it didn't stay a smooth performance for long as she appeared to trip over her cape and suffered some pretty shaky vocals as a result.

At times she recovered, pulling off some impressive Michael Jackson-esque robotic dance moves - aside from the shambolic accident, she tried her best.
