Hall & Oates are suing the manufacturers of a granola cereal who have used a play on their name for one of their products.
The Guardian report that the legendary pop duo aren't too happy with artisanal granola company Early Bird, who recently released a 'Haulin' Oats' range of cereals, so are taking them to court in Brooklyn, New York.
Speaking about the case, representatives for Daryl Hall and John Oates claim that: "the name and mark Haulin’ Oats is an obvious play upon Plaintiff’s well-known Hall & Oates mark, and was selected by defendant in an effort to trade off of the fame and notoriety associated with the artist’s and plaintiff’s well-known marks,".
The duo also state that the cereal is merely a “phonetic play on Daryl Hall and John Oates’ well-known brand name”, and are insiting the company change the name of the range.

Early Bird are yet to comment on the case, though it's probably fair to say they won't be releasing a Damon All-bran or Ready Beck range anytime soon.
