The Kanye and Beck plot thickens as it was revealed this week that the Grammy-winning artist's father worked on Beyonce's album B'Day, which won a grammy itself for 'Best Contemporary R&B album'.
As it turns out, Beck's father David Campbell is a music arranger, conductor and composer, who provided string arrangements for the 2006 record.
Kanye West ranted about Beck's Album Of The Year win at this year's awards, claming he "needs to respect artistry" going on to apologise to the songwriter after listening to the record "I was like, 'Man, this is kind of good. I ain't gonna lie,'" West admitted.
David Campbell is also credited for working on Adele's 21, Taylor Swift's Red, and Miley Cyrus' Bangerz. Could he work with Kanye at some point in the future? They'd sure have a lot to talk about.
Kanye recently buried the hatchet with Beck, finally conceding to the mass indignation about his comments and tweeting: "I would like to publicly apologize to Beck, I'm sorry Beck."
I would like to publicly apologize to Beck, I’m sorry Beck.
