Lamar recently won a Grammy for best rap performance for his single ‘i’ and dropped his latest song ‘The Blacker The Berry’ days after the awards ceremony, the title being a nod to the Wallace Thurman novel of the same name.
Recently, Lamar caused controversy in an interview with Billboard by defending Iggy Azalea, saying: “She’s doing her thing. Let her. People have to go through trials and tribulations to get where they at. Do your thing, continue to rock it, because obviously God wants you here.”
