This morning, rumors have been surfacing that Iggy Azalea’s North American tour might get cancelled, following her decision to quit social media.
As Billboard confirmed, Azalea’s The Great Escape tour has just been rescheduled due to “production delays”, according to a statement from Def Jam Recordings. They also said that “to accommodate for creative team availability and tour productions, it was determined that the tour will not be ready this spring."
“It's important to Iggy that she delivers the show she envisaged to share with her fans and that requites more time in development,” Def Jam continued in their statement.
Azalea is said to have been in an ongoing battle with her management, as she has been unresponsive and refuses to engage in self-promotion, after quitting social media with an extended Twitter rant. She also reportedly will not commit to any press opportunities, according to The Wrap.
However, a rep for Azalea reportedly told Billboard that there is “no truth to the rumor that there's any conflict between her and her management."
