Kanye West is now strongly rumoured to be headlining Glastonbury, alongside Foo Fighters.
- UPDATE: Kanye has now been confirmed - full details here
Followed an unexpected surge of betting over the weekend, bookies saw odds go from 12/1 to 2/1, before they were forced to suspend bets. Given that there is still no confirmed date for So Help Me God (we'll probably hear about it first on Hudson Mohawke's Snapchat) it would make perfect sense for West to headline the festival.
It would also be the natural next step for West: he's a truly extraordinary live act with a big enough back catalogue to take the Pyramid Stage by storm (plus he can crib from Jay-Z on how it's done). Let's just hope he doesn't go back to the bad old days of Bonnaroo where he didn't come on stage until 4.30am.
Pun-loving betting site Paddy Power said of the announcement: “It looks as though it will be Kanye to touch the sky at Glastonbury this year as the welly-weaing crowd are flashing lights”

So far the only confirmed headliner for the festival is Foo Fighters, who will play the Pyramid Stage on Worthy Farm. Lionel Richie has also been confirmed (as has the Dalai Lama), whilst other rumours include Queen + Adam Lambert, Taylor Swift, Elton John, The Libertines, Noel Gallagher, Prince and many more.
Glastonbury Festival 2015 takes place at Worthy Farm in Somerset from 24 - 28 June 2015.
