Get your head out of the sky and back down to the dancefloor - as Nile Rodgers has unveiled the first new Chic track in over 20 years. Check out 'I'll Be There' below.
"It's a CHIClipse" wrote Rodgers on Facebook, lining up his latest release with the celestial goings on that have everyone tilting their head upwards. Well, with the eclipse has come a heavenly dose of disco - with 'I'll Be There' chanelling all that's great about Rodger's epic back catalogue of dancefloor-fillers.
With a nod to 'Everbody Dance' and packed with horns, funky riffs, playful bass and more than a few Studio 54 sing-along moments, 'I'll Be There' contains all that class that clearly rubbed off on the likes of Daft Punk in recent years. Rodgers finds new relevance in the now, and it feels so good.
