Fresh from his surprise mixtape release, Drake is now taking the logical next step by providing the soundtrack for an upcoming Sotheby's exhibition.
As the New York Times reports, the show focusses on 20 works from black American artists, including Rashid Johnson, Nick Cave (no not that one), Glenn Ligon, Kara Walker, Wangechi Mutu and Jean-Michel Basquiat. It runs from the 28 April - 12 June at the Sotheby's S2 Gallery in New York.
Drake has provided a playlist for the show, free of charge, despite saying "the whole rap/art world thing is getting kind of corny", last year, which we can totally agree on.
In slightly less highbrow news however, Lil Wayne has sent a sample of his potential autobiography to publishers and in it he alleged that Drake slept with his girlfriend, while he was in prison.
"I woke up feeling fucked up about the fucked up day that I had ... finding out that she fucked Drake was the absolute worst thing I could've ever found out," Wayne wrote according to TMZ.
If you're up for checking out precisely why someone would hook up with a rival while Weezy was still jailbound, Drake is heading New Look Wireless this year, the capital's biggest hiphop festival.
