System Of A Down have announced that they've 'written some new songs'. Watch the interview below.
In an interview with Madcap Music Review, the hard-rock band's bassist Shavo Odadjian said of new material.
“Yeah, there’s a very good chance," he said of the chances of entering the studio. "I don’t have a date. We’ve already gone. We’ve written some songs. We’re keeping it to ourselves. We’re getting back to the bullshit of being together.”
If System Of A Down do release new material, it will be their first since 2005's Hypnotize.
The band recently said that they might release a new album following their upcoming world tour.
Announced last year and dubbed the Wake Up The Souls tour, it coincides with the 100th anniversary of the Armenian genocide and has brought the band back together.
