Panda Bear has released a remix of 'All The Rage Back Home', the lead single off Interpol's 2014 album El Pintor. Check it out below.
Released via Youtube, the remix treats the original song playfully, with wild synth elements and sluggish pitch-shifted vocals that contrast with the usually wrought-up, cutting voice of Interpol frontman Paul Banks.
Building from an initial understated start, Panda Bear takes the New York rockers to spacey new heights before slowing down to a methodical, almost military beat. The track, very much one of two halves, seems equal parts a frantic sprint through colourful and confusing synths and a march through a monochrome, empty sonic landscape.
