Slaves have covered LCD Soundsystem's 'Daft Punk Is Playing At My House' for BBC Radio 1. Listen to the track below.

The Kent two-piece brought the hardcore punk energy to the now-defunct dance outfit's hit, as well as playing their own tracks 'Live Like An Animal' and single 'Feed The Mantaray'. Between songs, they spoke to Huw Stevens about their inspiration, namely a homeless alcoholic in Tunbridge Wells who reminded them of "a carcass rotting in the midday sun", the benefits of signing to a label, and sharing fans with The Clash.

Despite the apparent disparity between disaffected New Yorkers and Slaves' fiery brand of English punk, the song's guitar hook easily translated into Slaves guitarist Laurie Vincent's biting tone, and both Vincent and drummer Isaac Holman assured Stevens and his listeners that they were avid long-term fans of LCD Soundsystem.
