Blur, The Vaccines and Laura Marling have been announced as the first acts to appear on the new series of 'Later With Jools Holland', set to air on 14th April.
The first episode will also star Natalie Prass, Songhoy Blues and Davina And The Vagabonds, while former Soft Cell singer Marc Almond will be interviewed by host Jools Holland.
The eight-part show will comprise of a half-hour live edition at 10pm on Tuesday evenings with an extended hour-long edition airing on Friday evenings. No other names for future episodes have been announced so far.
Blur’s appearance to promote new album The Magic Whip will be their first on the show since they played in 2000 for their album ‘13’. The band are also set to headline Barclaycard presents British Summer Time Hyde Park on 20 June 2015 and will play the Isle Of Wight Festival on June 13.
