This year’s Vans Warped Tour lineup has been announced, with the likes of Asking Alexandria, Black Veil Brides, Mallory Knox, Riff Raff, Senses Fail and more scheduled to play.
As Billboard reports, Warped Tour founder Kevin Lyman said that he wanted a diverse lineup to reflect its audience’s varied taste in music. “If [the lineup] sucks so bad, don’t go," he said. "Start your own festival. I’ve been saying it since 1997, there’s got to be a kid in a garage somewhere who’s gonna kick my ass one day and put me out of business."
This year, the traveling festival is offering one free ticket per minor (under 18) to bring along an adult guardian or parent (over 28). Inside the venue, the parents have the option to wait in a ‘parents tent’, which has air conditioning, magazines and films.
This year’s Warped Tour kicks off on June 17 in Anchorage, AK, and runs until August 8 in Auburn, WA, although dates are subject to change.
