The Replacements, Passion Pit, Slayer, Descendents, and Chance the Rapper are scheduled to play free shows in Boston as part of the new Converse Rubber Tracks Live Boston concert series.
Beginning Monday April 27, Converse is sponsoring a free, five-day multi-genre concert series at The Sinclair. The series is being held to celebrate the opening of Converse’s global world headquarters in Boston.
In addition to the acts mentioned above, there were also be performances from the likes of Dinosaur Jr., Baths, Doomriders, Action Bronson, and King Tuff, as well as five Boston-based acts who have all recorded at a Converse Rubber Tracks recording studio.
Jed Lewis, Converse Global Music Marketing Director said of the concert series: “In anticipation of Converse’s momentous move from North Andover to Boston, we wanted to bring our Converse Rubber Tracks music platform to the city in the most incredible way possible. The city of Boston has always supported us and this free, five-day concert series featuring local artists is our way of showing our gratitude and appreciation to the residents who continue to embrace Converse as part of the community.”
