Adam Lambert has revealed his hugely anticipated new single, 'Ghost Town', from forthcoming album The Original High.
After being trailed for weeks with snippets of lyrics and Instagram videos, this morning Adam Lambert finally released the full version of the song. It opens with a strummy acoustic guitar while Lambert discusses the perils of fame and fortune, before turning into a whistle-led house stomper. Releasing it as the lead single from his new album is the smartest decision Lambert has made since joining Queen as frontman.

Due for release later this year, Lambert's third studio LP The Original High is his first for Warner Bros records and is produced by Max Martin and Shellback. Speaking to Digital Spy, he hinted that his new LP is "definitely pop" and also mentioned that "there's some house on there" as well as "some R&B flavours".
Lambert recently told Notion magazine that he has suffered from self doubt following his success. "The music industry is so crazy, competitive and focused, and after the Trespassing album I kind of had to stop and ask myself, 'Why am I doing this? What do I want? Who am I? What am I about?' And just re-examine everything."
He continued, "I finally became more grounded about all of the fame stuff; it's not freaking me out any more. There were certain ways in which I triumphed and certain ways in which I stumbled a little bit. Unfortunately, people were watching while I was learning."
Queen and Lambert recently concluded their 26 date European tour. They have performed to over 300,000 people. Read our review of the London show here - described by our writer as 'One of the best concerts this writer has ever experienced at the O2'.
