Waka Flocka Flame announced on 4/20 that he'll be a candidate in the 2016 Presidential election with running mate DJ Whoo Kid.
The idea of the rapper running for President was first floated by way of a tweet he sent out to his followers in 2012, which read: "I'm dead ass running for President in 2016".
The rapper aligned his announcement via Rolling Stone with cult holiday 4/20, which sees a sub-culture celebration of marijuana, also reflecting his main policy: the legalisation of the drug. He also wants dogs to be banned from restaurants and people with oversized feet forbidden from walking in public.
In amongst these bizzare policies, he also offers some sense to the tongue-in-cheek video campaign: "We're gonna teach the kids real-life skills." He goes on to discuss Hilary Clinton, women's rights and more.
