Lily Allen has spoken out after being left 'exhausted' from abuse via Twitter, following the news that she'd be replacing Two Door Cinema Club as the headliner of this weekend's Latitude Festival.
Two Door Cinema Club had to pull out of their slot due to singer Alex Tremble being taken ill. The band have also pulled out of their Bournemouth headline show and released the following statement:
"It is with a heavy heart that we are going to need to cancel our upcoming shows at Latitude and Bournemouth Academy. Alex collapsed at Seattle airport on the way to London and has been hospitalised with a chronic stomach complaint. We are devastated to have to cancel shows that we were so looking forward to. We can only apologise and hope for your understanding at this time.
Love TDCC x"
With ticket holders voicing their frustration, Allen herself had to step in asking for angry Two Door Cinema Club fans to stop having a go at her in a double tweet rant.
If you're going to be rude about my replacing @TDCinemaClub on here, can you just un @ me please ? I'm so exhausted by the nastiness.

I understand that you're disappointed but I don't think that warrants abuse. They asked, I accepted,I will give it my all, + hope you enjoy.
