A 17-year-old has passed away after falling ill at Latitude festival over the weekend.
The death which police aren't treating as suspicous, took place on the last day of the festival, after the teenager had fallen ill the day before. At 16:30 on Saturday afternoon he was airlifted to a nearby hospital, but died in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Police have stated that they aren't treating the death as suspicous, saying instead that he fell ill of an "isolated medical condition".
"A 17-year-old male attending Latitude was airlifted to hospital on Saturday afternoon and died in the early hours of Sunday morning," reads a statement from organisers. "The young male suffered from an isolated medical condition. The police are not treating this as suspicious."
Last night the festival was closed by The Black Keys, who played on the Obelisk stage.
