Former Queens of the Stone Age bassist Nick Oliveri has announced the release of his new solo album, titled Leave Me Alone.
The ex QOTSA and Kyuss member will produce and play every instrument himself on the record - apart from a few guest slots in guitar, including appearances from Phil Campbell of Motorhead, Dean Ween and Bruno Fevery of Kyuss Lives!, and Marc Diamond and Blag Dahlia from Dwarves.
The new album will follow up Oliveri's last solo album Demolition Day, which was a vinyl-only release in 2004. As well as a covers album titled Death Acoustic, that was released in 2009.
Making peace with former Kyuss and QOTSA bandmate and rival Josh Homme, Oliveri performed backing vocals on the bands 2013 album ...Like Clockwork. Oliveri's new band UNCONTROLLABLE will also be supporting them on their 'super spooky Halloween show' atThe End Of The Road Festival at The Forum in Los Angeles on Friday 31 October, 2014.
