AlunaGeorge are on the brink of huge mainstream success, and the release of their debut album Body Music is set to rocket them on their way to the big league.
The talented pair made up of Aluna Francis and George Reid have seen previous, soaring success with hit singles 'Your Drums, Your Love', 'You Know You Like It' and 'Attracting Flies'. Not to mention their summer anthem 'White Noise' collaboration with brother producers, Disclosure.

In build up to their anticipated debut, one of their ten tracks from the new album were each released from the pair as a thank you to chosen blogs and websites the duo said have showed them unconditional support.
The album offers standout tracks such as ‘B Ur Boo’, which hinges on charming commercial qualities, much like well received single ‘Attracting Flies’ did, in a kaleidoscope of Aluna’s vocals and synths reminiscent of early Madonna. ‘Outlines’ offers a new meaning to chill-gaze, with a distinctive beat carrying it through, whilst track ‘Diver’ strips everything back that we've come to expect, exuding definite beach vibes. ‘Superstar’ however is one unlike the rest, with its pop beats and chopped, edgy texture, we're hopeful for a future single release.
A long way from making music in George’s bedroom, they've already conquered Britain’s top festivals from Glastonbury to Lovebox with Reading and Leeds expected to follow later this year. With their dramatic, soulful beats they’re set to rival the success of their former partners, Disclosure.
An easy record to soundtrack this summer, its futuristic, experimental sounds just feel right together, courtesy of producer George. While Aluna's distinctive vocals hark back to the glorious r&b of Aaliyah, TLC and SWV. Way past being more than just a blip on the pop radar, their hip-pop has established itself comfortably in the charts, and Body Music demonstrates that they’re ready for more.
