Wolf Alice have released the video to accompany single Bros and it's a tender depiction of young friendship, filmed in Elly Rowsell's local London neighbourhood.
In the video, two girls have made London their playground; climbing trees, pushing shopping trolleys and clambering over fences. The friendship between the two is beyond sweet. Frontwoman Ellie says “It’s an ode to childhood imagination and friendship and all the charm that comes with that."

What makes it pull on the heartstrings even more is the friendship it's depicting: Bros was written about Elly's childhood friendship with Sadie Cleary, and their growing up together. Cleary even used to play bass in the band before Theo Ellis was drafted in. As a nod to that fact, the music video was filmed in the same North London neighbourhood in which Elly and Sadie used to play.
Wolf Alice's hotly anticipated debut album 'My Love Is Cool' is out on 22 June, via Dirty Hit records. Read Gigwise's interview with Elly here.
