Karen O has streamed her debut solo album Crush Songs online ahead of its official release. Listen to it below.

The album was in fact recorded nearly ten years ago, between 2006 and 2007, and is described as a "collection of lo-fi, bedroom recordings." It's a crackly, dreamy underproduced beauty at its best, and slightly directionless at its worst.

Ahead of its official release, the record is currently premiering over on Spin, which you can listen to here.

You can also listen to album highlight 'Rapt' below

The singer has done plenty of solo work outside of The Yeah Yeah Yeahs over the years, but Crush Songs marks her first full-length solo album.

Karen O is currently preparing to play two gigs at the Shepherds Bush Empire on 4 and 5 October. For tickets and more information click here.
