Rihanna has criticised US broadcaster CBS after they pulled her song from an NFL game in the wake of Ray Rice's domestic abuse scandal.
As USA Today reports, the show in question was scheduled to use the singer's rendition of 'Run This Town' in its pre-game coverage, but after Rice's domestic abuse scandal shamed the sport earlier this month, the intro was scrapped to instead display a more sombre message.
However, Rihanna was not happy with this substitution, taking to twitter to vent her anger at the situation, feeling it was a personal attack on her.
Read the singer's tweets about the incident below:
CBS you pulled my song last week, now you wanna slide it back in this Thursday? NO, Fuck you! Y'all are sad for penalizing me for this.

The audacity...

Some have made the connection between the Ray Rice scandal and a 2009 incident in which Rihanna was assaulted by her then-partner Chris Brown, however CBS merely insisted the pop song didn't fit with the serious tone of the show, which involved an in depth 25 minute segment on Ray Rice's removal from the NFL.
