Father John Misty played in Leonard Cohen's hometown of Montreal on Monday (16 February), when he took the opportunity to cover Cohen's 'I'm Your Man'. Watch it below.

Josh Tillman released his second album under the moniker Father John Misty, I Love You Honeybear earlier this month.

As well as treating fans to live renditions of that new album during a Montreal gig this week, the singer also performed a sultry cover of Leonard Cohen's 'I'm Your Man'. He brought it up several octaves compared to Cohen's gravelly original, but retained its essential quality.

Father John Misty also recently covered Nirvana's 'Heart-Shaped Box' on Valentine's Day.

Having already gained some of the year's best reviews for his new LP (and sold out his show at London's Village Underground), Father John Misty is now set to play Shepherd's Bush Empire on 29 October.

Tickets are now on sale. For tickets and more information click here.
