Flowers was playing a solo gig at the Troubador in Los Angeles on Tuesday (14 April), ahead of the release of his forthcoming solo album. Partway through the set, he covered Australian rock band INXS' 1982 hit 'Don't Change'.

Flowers' new solo album, The Desired Effect, includes musical contributions from the likes of Neil Tennant, Danielle Haim, Ronnie Vannucci Jr and Dirty Projectors' Angel Deradoorian.
