A Korean Lego enthusiast has built a working turntable from over 2000 blocks. Watch a video of it in action below.
Named The Planet it is a stroke of plastic engineering genius that requires only a phono cartridge to work. Just to sum up how nifty the design is, it uses tyres from Lego cars as weights on the tone arm and is made from 2,400 pieces. Why didn't we think of that?

The designer, who is called Hayarobi, has various other constructions on his Youtube channel, including a remote control bulldozer and a Lego version of Spongebob Squarepants.
