"I don't think there's anything I wouldn't try and attempt, musically," Weller tells Gigwise. "I think the whole field is wide open to see what happens. I just wanted to start from nothing and build the picture up as we went along really."
From starting from the ground up, Weller has built something fresh and new - a towering accomplishment of song and sound. As part of his Gigwise takeover, The Modfather talks us through the album with his track by track guide to Saturns Pattern.

"I was looking for something," he goes on. "I didn't know what I was after, but I knew what I didn't want to make, so it was really just a question of just chipping away and trying to find this rich seam - it just takes a while to find it."
