"I don't think there's anything I wouldn't try and attempt, musically," Weller tells Gigwise. "I think the whole field is wide open to see what happens. I just wanted to start from nothing and build the picture up as we went along really."

"I was looking for something," he goes on. "I didn't know what I was after, but I knew what I didn't want to make, so it was really just a question of just chipping away and trying to find this rich seam - it just takes a while to find it."
