The Duke Spirit emerged last year and introduced themselves with mini album 'Roll, Spirit, Roll' (released through City Rockers). With Liela Moss's vocals stealing the show, the five-piece band mix bluesy, atmospheric tunes with twisted alt-rock rhythms and have already created a good fan base around the UK.
The London-based act toured in April supporting British Sea Power, which was the warm up for an exhausting May! They have already started their UK tour in supporting the Vines and are headlining five nights at the end of the month (Manchester 23, Newcastle 24, Glasgow 25, Liverpool 28, Oxford 29) with Archie Bronson Outfit as support. A couple more London gigs are to be announced soon.
The Duke Spirit’s new single 'Dark Is Light Enough' is due to be released on May 24 on Loog Records.
