Prince has treated us to a brand new song entitled 'Stare' - listen below.
With news of a new album incoming, fans of the Purple One are balancing eagerly on the edge of their seats waiting for new material.
'Stare' arrives as maybe the funkiest track of the year, with a slinking bassline that pops and twangs below Prince's free-flow vocal delivery.
Despite pulling his total discography from all streaming services except TIDAL, Soundcloud and Rhapsody, Prince brings us this new track surprisingly via Spotify.

It's unclear whether 'Stare' will be a part of the 'super experimental' new record entitled 'The Hit and Run Album'. Speaking to 6music about the new record, Prince's band 3rdEyeGirl said: "It's just hit after hit and definitely caters to those fans who just love to hear what Prince has to say, rather than wanting to always hear that classic Purple Rain Prince sound".
