D’Angelo and the Vanguard have announced a US tour, beginning on June 7 in Oakland, California.
The 14-date Second Coming Tour is in support of his album Black Messiah. Following the album’s release in December 2014, D’Angelo stopped by the Apollo Theater to perform new material, as well as played a few European shows and made an appearance at SXSW 2015.
Now, D’Angelo and the Vanguard will traveling across the US to play shows in Los Angeles, Denver, Atlanta, Houston, Philadelphia and Washington DC, amongst other stops. The tour will run until June 18 with a show in Sayerville, NJ.
Tickets for most of the shows on the tour will go on sale at 10AM local time on May 1.
