Jarvis Cocker has been announced as a Special Guest at the John Peel Archives and Classic Album Sunday's playback of Pulp's Different Class.
Fresh from his return to 6 Music, it has been announced this week that on 6 June Cocker in attendance of a listening party for one of his classic albums, hosted at the John Peel Centre for Creative Arts in Stowmarket. Located only a few miles from where John Peel broadcasted his weekly Radio One show, the listening parties are a celebration of the music that Peel would promote, and Different Class is celebrating it's 20th Anniversary this year.
The founder of the event, Collen 'Cosmo' Murphy will host a live interview with Cocker, in which the legacy of both Peel and Pulp will be discussed before an uninterrupted playthrough of Different Class will take place, using John Peel's own copy of the album on vinyl.
