Kendrick Lamar has revealed that he placed a hidden message inside the physical CD editions of his album, To Pimp A Butterfly.
In an interview with Mass Appeal, Kendrick Lamar explains that the album title and the rest is hidden in braille inside the album’s booklet.
“[There]’s actually a sketch of braille that’s added to the title hidden inside the [CD] booklet that I don’t think nobody has caught yet,” he explains. “You can actually feel the bump lines. But if you can see it, which is the irony of it, you can break down the actual full title of the album.”
As Complex explained, the braille message reads “A Blank Letter by Kendrick Lamar”, keeping in the tradition of m.A.A.d city which was billed “a short film by Kendrick Lamar”.

The hidden message is not the only thing that Kendrick has revealed since the release - he also explained to Hot 97 recently that he's been in the studio with Prince after being in Minnesota together last October.
“We was vibing, but we was pressed, man." Kendrick said, revealing they unfortunately didn't have time to complete a whole song. “I didn’t trip over getting a song done. I really appreciate the actual game he was giving...He took control of his music. He was breaking down some things that I need to consider in my career. Just really taking control of your creativity.”
Kendrick will play Wireless Festival in London this summer, alongside Mary J Blige, Tinashe, Childish Gambino and Stormzy. Tickets are now on sale.
