Finishing off their tour stint for The Magic Whip, Blur were joined by SNL's Fred Armisen onstage to perform 'Parklife'. Watch it below.

Armisen took the role of Phil Daniels as the comedian showed off his barely acceptable English accent to the Hollywood Bowl, reciting the spoken-word parts of the 1994 track verbatim.

In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Damon Albarn said that he originally wanted Mike Myers to perform with the quartet in his full Austin Powers get-up but sadly he was unavailable. Albarn wanted their onstage collaborator to be someone who was a fan of the band, so Fred obviously fitted the bill perfectly.

In other exciting Albarn news, the Blur frontman will be heading back into the studio to continue work on the brand new Gorillaz album, due out some point in 2016.

Blur have also announced a documentary titled 'New World Towers' that focuses on the reformation and recording of the band's first album in 12 years. You can check out the trailer for the film below.
