U2 kicked off their Songs Of Innocence + Experience world tour in Vancouver last night (Thursday, 14 May), but it didn't all run smoothly - as guitarist The Edge lived up to his name and fell off the stage. See footage below.
The band debuted their impressively ambitious stage show on the night, and as the guitarist wandered down the gangway for the classic 'Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For', he went looking for it on the floor, as The Edge, well, fell off the edge.
Bono continued to sing on, while the crowd appeared shocked and amused. Fortunately, it was the last song of the evening.

Don't worry, though, he then took to Instagram to assure fans that he was OK:
It has been a tour dogged by bad luck and tragedy before it even began, after Bono broke his hand in a cycling accident and drummer Larry Mullen Jr's father passed away last week.
