Trent Reznor is reportedly in the works of developing a rock opera production of the critically acclaimed book and film, Fight Club.
The Nine Inch Nails leader has been in talks of creating a "rock opera" reworking the Fight Club story with the intention of bringing it to Broadway.
Fight Club author Chuck Palahnuik and director David Fincher are said to already be involved in the project. This would not be the first collaboration between Fincher and Reznor, previously teaming up for a number of film scores, including The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, The Social Network and more recently, Gone Girl.
The report is sourced from journalist and podcaster Jeff Goldsmith, who tweeted information regarding the new production after speaking to Palahnuik at last weekend's San Diego Comic-Con.

If this means we're in store for a Nine Inch Nails cover of Pixies 'Where Is My Mind?', consider us on board, but imagine a brilliant, exisential, industrial, cinematic nightmare.
In more recent news, Trent Reznor has been keeping himself recently working as a contributor to Apple Music's Beats 1 Radio Station and freelancing as a 'music consultant' for the latest Batman video game.
