Arcade Fire are set to release their first feature film this September entitled 'The Reflektor Tapes' and will be directed by Kendrick Lamar and Flying Lotus collaborator Kahlil Joseph.
'The Reflektor Tapes' will be screened worldwide in theatres on September 24 for a limited time. The official statement describes the project as "a unique cinematic experience, meeting at the crossroads of documentary, music, art and personal history."
Arcade Fire Tube, the unofficial fan forum, reported on the film late 2014 suggesting that Kahlil Joseph was working on it. Joesph is known for his work directing short films for both Kendrick Lamar and Flying Lotus.
As the title and released statement suggest, the film will be heavily connected to the recording and touring of the Montreal band's 2013 album, Reflektor.
