Chvrches have announced their new album title, artwork and tracklisting, as well as performing a few new songs live during their first gig in 8 months. Watch below.
The album, the follow-up to their 2013 debut (and Gigwise's album of the year) The Bones Of What You Believe, will be called Every Open Eye, and was recorded at the band's Alucard Studios in Glasgow.
The band have also been teasing the beautiful artwork above on their Facebook page over the past week, and - though it seems that it's now been leaked rather than officially released - it has not disappointed. You'll have to wait a few months to get your hands on it though - according to Australian retailers Sanity, the album will be released on 25 September via Universal.
During RBC Bluesfest in Ottawa last night, the band's first gig in 8 months, they previewed a selection of album tracks, including 'Clearest Blue', 'Make Them Gold' and 'Leave A Trace'.
'Leave A Trace', Lauren Mayberry told Pitchfork last month, is "the middle finger mic-drop. It’s about that point where you’re like, 'There’s no point having this conversation anyways: There will be no resolve, I won’t feel better about it, you won’t feel better about it, no outcome from this will actually change my reality.'"

Unfortunately, whoever filmed the rest of the new songs that are available on YouTube appears to have been standing inside the bass speaker. The sound is horribly muffled, so brace yourself.
