He may be doing a pretty good job of conquering the US, but Sam Smith has taken time out from charming audiences across the pond with his own material by covering Amy Winehouse at his recent Lollapalooza set. Check it out.
Dedicating 'Tears Dry On Their Own' to the late singer, who died at the age of 27 in July 2011, Smith launched into a flurry of covers at the Chicago festival, flanked by backing dancers.
As medleys go, this was ambitious. Alongside Winehouse's song, Smith also covered tracks by Chic, Marvin Gaye and Elvis Presley.
